This was a joke, 64 people crammed into two small tasting rooms, you were hurried through the tastings, and the tour guide for trip, admitted he knew nothing about wine. Total waste of an afternoon and money. Too many other good wine tour choices - stay way from this one.

Eleanor (the tour guide) and Florenzo (the driver) were very rude and very unprofessional. We were coming back to the bus and we bought a crepe and he said we couldn't bring it on the bus. Then there was a family eating pizza on the bus (a large pie) and that was okay. Eleanor needs to learn English if she's going to tour Americans and English speaking people. Also, they would not let us out of the bus at an earlier stop and was very rude about it. The first tour, they gave plentiful wine but the second tour, they barely have anything to taste. Also, the third stop made no sense on a wine tour. No wine and a waste of time except for Elenor to get her macaroons because she was hungry. She also advises us the tour people not to review if we were not happy with the tour! What kind of company is that? Think again before booking! (Also, they ask for tip for themselves - no where else in Italy does that, does the company know they do that?)

I loved the two wineries we visited, the first one was my favorite. The snacks and olive oil provided was amazing although I wish there was more at the second vineyard. I especially loved the time given at Greve although we were late to arrive and I wish we had more time to explore the beautiful village of Greve. My favorite part was our incredible tour guide, she was amazing!!

I have done many wine tours in Italy and this doesn't even qualify as one. It was a huge group on a full size bus and most of the so called tour was on the bus. While the two wineries we visited were lovely we barely had 40 minutes at each one. By the time each person had a tiny sip of wine, and a piece of cheese, it was time to get back on the bus. And as an aside, a bowl of salami and cheese does not constitute food. I would never recommend Viator or use them ahain.

We booked this tour since we were without a car, but I wanted my sister to see Greve and the Chianti countryside. First problem, the tour staring point was impossible to find. Then, much to our dismay, the group was 55 people on a full size tour bus, rather than the minivan size group touted in the website description. The winery visits were ok, but seriously - a group of 55 is too big for a wine tasting experience. Our visit to Greve was only 20 minutes. Instead of arriving back at the station at 6:30, it was 7:45, causing us to change our dinner plans. What a disappointment.

Nothing special- originally the trip was booked as English and Spanish but actually also did French. Having the guide repeat everything in 3 languages turned us off.

The bus was a big comfy tour bus. The first winery was an old castle with a winery on the location. You get to see the cellar and taste 4 wines with homemade olive oil from the winery as well. The second winery is more of a distillery as they dont have a winery at the location, but do the fermenting and bottling there. This is a very modern business. I believe we tried 3 wines with meat samples there. The 2 wineries are completely opposite. The city of Greve is very small, but charming. Tour was worth the money and time.

The bus ride was very pleasant. Our guide on the bus was not informative at all. He did not give us any information while we were driving and spent most of his time on his cell phone. The vineyards were good however.

The drive and scenery was beautiful. We were taken to two vineyards. The first one gave us good information and had beautiful view the wine was a bit pricey. The snacks weren't enough for the amount of people there. The second one was smaller vineyard and less tasting and the oil, cheese tasting was limited. The wine was very limited barley tasted it. We're weren't happy with the tour. Next time will drive ourselves.

Okay if you only have half a day. All day trip to Pisa and San Gimigiano includes a winery tour and is a better deal as you also will do a winery. This would be MUCH better if it included dinner outside at a winery! That scenery would be worth its weight in gold.
