    Meet your host in central Florence, and take a short stroll to one of the city’s beautiful palazzos for your evening Renaissance banquet. Head inside the exquisite banqueting halls of the noble residence, and take a seat at your table as music is provided by harps, flutes and the sweet, high-pitched tones of a soprano singer.

    Take in the surrounds, enjoy the entertainment and watch the waiting staff, jesters and dancers — all dressed in beautiful Renaissance costumes — work their way around the room. If you are lucky, you may be selected to dress up in costume and even learn some of the elegant 15th-century dances!

    As the show around you continues, savor your 4-course meal and sip on a glass of Chianti wine. Finish the meal with coffee and receive a personalized parchment certificate, bearing the emblem of the palace, before leaving.

    Sample Menu:

    First course:
    • Cured beef with arugula (rocket leaves), cherry tomatoes, pine nuts and mozzarella
    Second course:
    • Risotto with asparagus, ricotta and spinach ravioli with tomato and basil sauce
    Third course (choice of one):
    • Beef with roast potatoes
    • Breaded sirloin of cinta senese with roast potatoes
    • Fillet of sea bream with scalloped potatoes and a mussel sauce
    Dessert:
    • Tiramisu and Bavarian cream

    Unfortunately I could not attend because of that did not attend the bus in nearby shed and waited more than an hour and I was communicating with Viator administration

    What a fabulous way to start our visit to Florence. The Palace is magnificent and the entertainment was quite charming. The food and wine were of a very high quality and most enjoyable.A wonderful evening!

    This was a terrific night and the entertainment was so much fun, I even got dressed in the medieval clothes and danced with the male dancer to one of the dances. The food was wonderful and there was so much of it and there was plenty of wine. Everyone got into the spirit of the night and we all bonded and had a great night. The room was just stunning with all the gold, mirrors and candelabras. This night will not be forgotten.

    Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our delightful evening at the Renaissance Banquet in Florence. From start to finish the gracious staff made us feel welcome and pampered. Each course of the meal was delicious, especially the prime rib and lemon cake. Even our very picky 11-year-old came home completely full. The musicians were talented and provided added ambience. Throughout the evening members of the audience were selected to participate in different aspects of the entertainment, which added to the amusement. The ambience of the Palazzo Borghese adds heavily to the evening. The dining area is stunningly beautiful. After dinner some of the wait staff proudly gave us a tour of some of the other rooms. It was just a lovely and perfect evening.

    Fabulous evening out. Not easy to be sure of the venue but look out for the large arched portico doors - it's on the Florence Lions Club. Amazing decor and much much MUCH more enjoyable than the Viator description. No hidden costs and lots of wine + multi choice main courses. top entertainment. V gd

    There was no one to greet us once in the building and there was lack of direction on where to go until someone arrived. There was no clear introduction and seating was confusing. It seemed somewhat unorganised and that the staff where in their own world. The food/drink and entertainment were sufficient.
