You will have time to explore Ronda at your leisure, admiring Spain’s oldest bullring and the town’s ancient bridges spanning the ravines. As you stroll around Ronda, it’s easy to see why this beautiful hill town was frequented by such famous people as Ernest Hemingway and Orson Welles. Your visit to the UNESCO World Heritage sites of the Alhambra and Generalife Gardens will no doubt be among the highlights of your tour. Stroll through the mosaic-tiled and landscaped gardens to discover the culture and history of Spain’s Moorish rulers and admire their exotic architectural legacy. After dinner at your hotel, spend the evening at your leisure or watch a Gypsy Zambra flamenco show in Granada’s Gypsy quarter, Sacromonte (optional extra).

Tour covered a lot of places in southern Spain in a short period of time. Most of the cities are on steep hills and the streets are cobble stone and difficult to walk on. This tour is not for the elderly who have problems walking. We were two of only four people on the bus who were English speaking; the remainder spoke Spanish. Although the tour guide was excellent, she had her hands full with this group. Would have much preferred an English only tour and a much slower pace. There was very little free time as we were rushed from place to place.Hotels and food were both very good so no complaints there. Weather was great with warm (80-85 degrees F) days and Andalusia was beautiful and well worth seeing.

There are lots of systems the Viator needs to improve and one of them is the seating arrangements in the tourists bus. Nobody wants to be always seated at the back or near rear end of the bus for the whole 5 days of the travel. You should limit the number of tourists per group.

The itinerary is very good. It covers all the key cities you would want to visit in southern Spain. Great lessons in history with our fantastic tour guide! I would recommend cutting shorter the Ronda tour and make Toledo a full day deal. Could not cover that as a stopover on the way back to Madrid!Toledo is a spectacular old capital of Spain with so much history and things to see and learn. We bought the upgraded hotel/dinner version but the dinners (2 nights) at the Seville hotel were terrible!! Others were better. Overall it is a good tour.

In Toledo, we did not have the chance to see and walk in the historic part in which no cars are allowed, to experience the narrow cobblestoned streets, surrounded by centuries old buildings. Instead, we were taken to a gift shop where we spent almost an hour, followed by a walking tour of the more modern part of the city the part with newer buildings and where cars are allowed.
In Ronda, we paid EUR 25 extra per person for a guided tour that proved useless. For that price, all guided tours of Ronda include entry to the bull ring costs EUR 7 if bought separately, but our tour only showed us the ring from outside not very much to see.
In Granada, we paid EUR 33 extra per person for a below-average gypsies' dance show and an Albaicin tour. The latter was rushed out and delivered by inexperienced youths who failed to show us that important district of Granada and were not helped by the fact it was already too dark to see anything properly almost 10.30-11pm. The Albaicin tour part of the evening should have preceded rather than followed the poor dance show.
The tour does not take you to Granada city centre for the Royal Chapel, and does not include entrance to Seville's cathedral/Giralda or Real Alkazar.

This was a group of people from all over the world, visiting southern Spain together! The guide was nice and knew a lot, and the individual guides in each city were very good, also. It was a very historical tour in many ways. I have been on a one-day Viator tour in Hawaii, and I would go on Viator again! Thank you!

Ismael is a master historian and guide. He is a cut above the rest. Been on many excursions and he is by far the most knowledgeable. The local guides in Cordoba, Sevilla, and Granada were also very good. Constructive criticism: we needed an hour or two more at Cordoba to cross the Roman bridge and enjoy this amazing city. Use the 30 minutes of free time wisely. An extra hour in Ronda would have been nice also to walk through the old part of town. If we had left Torremolinos earlier to arrive at Granada by noon, we could have seen a bit more there also. The Aalbaicin neighborhood is a must. This is an ambitious tour that covers many cities, each worthy of a full hiliday season. Plan ahead and study the places you will visit to maximize your experience. The roads in Spain are stupendous. The rest stops top-notch. The hotels we selected were the tourist quality because they were nearer to the hsitoric centers. The Melia in Torremolinos was very luxurious. Sevilla and Granada hotels were a bit tired and dated. Overall, we are very satisfied with this trip. It was easier and cheaper than renting a car and planning each site and tour individually. Try it and you'll see. It was a total thrill.

This was not our favorite.. the food at the hotels we stayed at were sub-par. We ended up not eating at the hotels and venturing on our own to get food. Spain has such wonderful food.. you don't want to waste eating hotel prepared food.

This was a wonderful fact filled trip of the history and culture of Spain. I booked the tourist class hotels and was very satisfied. Our guide knowledgeable and helpful. He went over and above with his service.

The trip was good but not enough time to explore the cities. The tour in Ronda was not guided and the tourist guide did not even give us any information on what to see on this city. Cordoba was very short tour, no time to take photos. Hotels are great location except the Los Angeles Hotel in Granada, it's out of town and the room has no privacy, wall is so thin that you can hear the people next door snoring. The hotel in Seville Catalonia hotel was good location and food but the wall was so thin you can hear everything next door and also the street light bothers me. The tour was great because it save us time to tour the south spain. I wish they give us more time to take photos. Foods for breakfast and dinner was great.

I agree with previous reviews I've read of this tour. While the itinerary is quite full, there is ample free time to be able to relax and catch your breath. The towns of Caceres, Cordoba, Seville, Ronda, Granada and Toledo are completely wonderful. The Mesquite in Cordoba, Plaza de Espana in Seville and the Alhambra in Granada are absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. The local guides in Cordoba and Seville were outstanding - the best tour guides I've ever had. The local guide in Granada was also wonderful but unfortunately had some microphone issues and walked a bit fast for some members of our group. The local guide in Toledo was not great. Our main guide for the entire trip was lovely and very knowledgeable. Our driver was very good though not all that friendly. The hotels were great and it was good to have all of the dinners arranged - though they are quite basic. We really loved the Granada flamenco show in the gypsy cave and our local guide was delightful, however we didn't get back to our hotel until after midnight. We found the flamenco show in Seville to be too touristy for us, though many of our travelling companions loved it. Overall a fabulous tour - highly recommended.
