    After meeting your guide for a pickup at your Porto hotel, hop aboard an air-conditioned minivan and begin your city tour of Porto, starting with a drive that explores Porto and its beautiful waterfront.
    Learn about the city’s blue-collar roots that’s helped mold its rich tradition on a walking tour around the city center, passing by some of its most iconic monuments, such as Clérigos Tower, Lello Bookshop and S.Bento Train Station.
    After this, cross the river to Vila Nova de Gaia and discover Porto’s most famous industry, port (a fortified wine), where you will visit a port wine lodge and have a traditional port wine-tasting. Listen as the guide explains how the port industry produces the world’s best fortified wines and drink up a few varieties of port.
    Continue to traditional restaurant for a nice dinner, while enjoying a traditional Fado show in one of the most typical neighborhoods, right in the heart of Porto.� After enjoying the typical dinner and filling your soul with the Fado music, relax on a last sightseeing of some of the most iconic monuments in Porto, with their night lights on.

    Had a great tour guide with a small grope but wasn't enough time to capture everything in details.They need to have less places so we can have more time to understand what we look at.

    Porto from the river is a different experience. Lunch was great and the Port wine tour and tasting was fantastic!

    Our guide was friendly and fluent in multiple languages. Our tour team consists of parties from Australia, Morocco and Los Angeles. Hence, she had to switch back and forth from English to French and vice versa. However, she was able to bind all the members in one group by staying in the middle of the group. She also ensured that she spent equal amount of time with each group of guests and nobody would felt left out. She planned the tour effectively and we enjoyed places like the Liberty Square, the Train station, the walk downhill of the old city, Porto, Gaia, a very good lunch at a local restaurant with multiple deserts to share. The boat ride of the six bridges (soon to be seven bridges) was a good way to appreciate the beauty of Porto from the Duro River. The winery was a good choice for the Port Wine tasting. The portions were generous and the taste was great. We had a very pleasant day and enjoyed every minute of the city tour. We all voted out for the "Most Beautiful Book Store" due to the long line up but our guide took some of the guests back to the store at the end of the tour.

    We did this tour on our first day in Porto to give us a general overview of the city and that’s exactly what we got. Nothing was terribly in depth but we saw just about everything. In this way we could decide what we wanted to explore further on the subsequent days of you trip. Our guide was delightful, eager to please and enthusiastic. She really made the trip fun.

    Very positive tour with Lola. Intimate experience, just two of us. We arrived in the city the night before so we didn't have much background, but had we asked to see something, in particular, our guide, Lola, would have been happy to share with us. Lola gave additional recommendations for restaurants and markets to see, which we visited the following day. The boat tour was a bit disappointing as large groups also used the boat, and pushed and shoved, only to leave their seats and ramble around the boat. Our guide was patient and explained how she'd tried to arrange us to arrive early. She tried, which we appreciated. I would recommend Cool Tours to others visiting Porto.

    The trip was made especially enjoyable by our guide Pedro. He was extremely entertaining and caring. Was at hand to help carry our bag n with his sense of humour he made the trip unforgettable! Would strongly recommend this tour and guide!

    We were able to visit all the areas included in this tour, and all the places are vast in history and beauty.
    The food and the wine tasting were delicious.

    A great day! Our group tour turned out to be private with Nuno. He was a great guide- very informed about Porto and with a real passion for the city! We enjoyed the day and it involved a nice amount of walking, but not too much. Only criticism was the drive to the coast seemed like filler. Loved it!
